Website for a small business
Website for a home-based operation
Website for a non-profit organization
And just a basic, average, informational website
eSheep Enterprises specializes in website solutions for small business clients. Four sample websites are shown below. The first three represent different types of businesses: a small incorporated company with a traditional "bricks and mortar" location, an internet-sales-oriented "virtual" home-based business, and a non-profit organization. The fourth is an example of a site that exists purely because the web exists — its function is to dispense information.
When it comes to developing a website — regardless of an organization's size and makeup — what matters is satisfying a business need. What do customers typically need to know? What can you tell them about yourself to make them comfortable about doing business with you? What is the best way to organize your pages and present your content to encourage visitors to "make contact"?
If you open actual doors to customers and have a professional image that you uphold in your community through quality products and services, your website should reflect this. For an example, check out Fibertel Communications' website. (Note that since the sale of this business in 2008, the new owners have re-branded the company; this website represents the company prior to the sale.)

The Society of Seniors Caring About Seniors responded to a solicitation from eSheep to put their information online. Apart from a minor design effort to arrive at a custom layout, this site was created using the basic methodology described on the Cost-Effective Website Options page: the content for the site was compiled entirely from existing documents, the photographs were provided by staff, and the resulting hosting costs are extremely affordable.

This site is an example of a work in progress. (Note that it doesn't have an "under construction" feel or look to it.) It is being developed to market business opportunities in the Valemount, British Columbia, area and is intended to be updated as more content is gathered.
